The Radiomarathon offers help to all children whose health is being tested and who need our support.
The role of Radiomarathon is multidimensional and important for the society of Cyprus. It is an initiative that brings the community together around a common goal: supporting people in need.
Fundraising for Charitable Purposes: The Radiomarathon raises funds through the organizers of the CNP CYPRUS Group with the companies of CNP CYPRIALIFE and CNP ASFALISTIKI, which are allocated to support people with special needs, chronic diseases, and other vulnerable groups in Cypriot society.
Information and Awareness: Through its broadcasts and activities, Radiomarathon informs the public about the needs and challenges faced by various social groups, promoting understanding and awareness.
Promoting Social Solidarity: Strengthens the feeling of social solidarity and unity, inviting citizens to contribute and support their fellow human beings in need.
Cooperation with Organizations: The Radiomarathon cooperates with charitable and social organizations, as well as with the government and private bodies, to implement actions aimed at improving the quality of life of the people it supports.
Volunteering and Active Community Participation: Organizes actions and events that engage citizens and invite them to actively participate, either as donors or volunteers, strengthening the social fabric.
The Radiomarathon Foundation, while playing a critical role in supporting vulnerable groups and strengthening social solidarity, is not intended to replace the state’s responsibilities in social policy.
Rather, it functions as a complement to government services, offering help where government intervention is insufficient or delayed.
